Over 900 million people use ChatGPT every week, and 37% of consumers already start their searches with AI instead of Google.
When someone asks "best pizzeria in my city" or "trusted dentist near me", AI replies with a name, and most of the time just one. If it is not yours, it is your competitor's.
And those who arrive via AI convert far more than those who arrive via Google. The problem is that most small and mid-sized businesses are invisible to AI: it does not matter if you have great reviews, an Instagram profile or years of reputation. If AI cannot read you, it will not recommend you.

Who is behind it
MerbIQ is a startup founded in early 2026 in Barcelona, one of Europe's leading technology and innovation hubs and home to the Mobile World Congress.
Behind it is a team that spent more than 15 years solving business and technology challenges inside German, American and French multinationals, in the technology, construction and automotive sectors.

Merlot and Bianca are MerbIQ's mascots, and the reason for the name: Merb(IQ) comes from them.
